This service is for the Freesat (Free-to-Air Satellite) installation only and does not include the Freesat receiver. - You can choose your receiver separately in our receivers section.

This installation service is suitable for a single Freesat receiver and provides you with a satellite dish installed and connected to this receiver in a single room.  This service is NOT suitable if you require the connection of a DTR (Digital TV Recorder, sometimes known as a PVR - Personnal Video Recorder) as this type of receiver requires a different installation type - click HERE for an installation suitable for a DTR.

 Installation Option - Summary

• The provision, installation and alignment of a Satellite Dish which is suitable for the reception of the desired satellite services – satellite specific Astra/ Eurobird (Dish sizes 43cm – 65cm Mesh type– Site Specific).
• The provision and installation of standard mounting brackets - Site specific (Wall mount).
• The provision and installation of Single Output LNB (1) (Universal Type).
• The provision and installation of a SINGLE (1) surface mounted downlead cable (CAI Bench marked type) up to 15m in length to a suitable position for connection to the customer’s equipment (Digital Box/ TV with freesat built-in) – This installation option provides a single signal feed to one room only.
• Please note that this installation option does NOT support DTR type product operation.
• All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal/ external weather covers.
• The downlead cable shall be terminated in accordance with the Digital Box specification using a durable ‘F’ type cable connector.
• A final assessment of received satellite services (freesat) will be carried out to confirm that the new service (coverage restrictions apply) is operational to agreed levels following the satellite dish system installation.

Approximate call duration on a standard call 40 - 60 mins dependent upon the local situation
