The Thomson Top Up TV+ Digital TV Recorder is a Digital TV Recorder (DTR) and a Freeview box, all in one.  The box provides similar functionality to the popular Sky+ box.  The receiver is packed with features and functions that put you firmly in control of your TV viewing experience.

You do not need to install a satellite dish as Freeview (digital TV) is received through your normal aerial ++. also these is no contract and therfore no hidden costs, just great TV that’s ready when you are.

The receiver provides an on-screen TV guide so that you can view the next 14 days of programming and you are also able to set up favourites. The recorder function enables you to record up to 120 hours of your favourite programmes (without the need for a video tape) as well as providing the technology to setup automatic recordings of complete series, ensuring you don;t miss that all important next episode of your favorite program!! 

The receiver provides access to Setanta Sports† giving you exclusive live sporting action. Not only can you watch, pause, rewind all the Freeview channels, but you can have access to even more TV choice with the popular Top-Up TV Anytime package; this provides you with over 600 programmes and 30 top movies every month.

Here's a Picture of the connectors that you'll find at the rear of the Thomson DTI-6300 Top Up TV+ box.

From left to right the connectors are: RF in, RF out, two SCART sockets, two phono audio sockets, a digital audio out socket, S-video out and a power socket. The box actually has two separate RF in and RF out sockets.  The gray block on the left  'loops' the aerial feed from RF1 out to RF2 in.
